Online PDF editor that keeps your file on your device
Open a PDF and mark it up the way you would on paper: type text anywhere, draw with a pen, highlight passages, add shapes, images and your signature, then download a new PDF. Everything runs inside your browser, so even confidential contracts and invoices stay private.

Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The file is read and processed by your own browser. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party, and the file is gone when you close the tab.
Can I change the existing text in a PDF?
PDFs do not store text as editable paragraphs, so the original text cannot be retyped directly. Use Whiteout to cover the old words and the Text tool to type new ones on top.
Will the layout of my PDF change?
No. The original pages are copied as they are and your additions are drawn on top, so fonts, images and layout are preserved.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It is free to use and there is no sign-up. The site is supported by ads shown on the information pages, never inside your document.
