Frequently asked questions
Is this a legally binding e-signature?
This adds a visual signature image, which many everyday agreements accept. It is not a qualified electronic signature (such as a certificate-based e-imza); for documents that legally require one, use a certified provider.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The file is read and processed by your own browser. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party, and the file is gone when you close the tab.
Can I sign on my phone?
Yes. The signature pad works with touch, so you can sign with your finger on a phone or tablet.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It is free to use and there is no sign-up. The site is supported by ads shown on the information pages, never inside your document.
